    • Slow Blinking Green - A downstream signal is present and the modem is attempting to connect
    • Fast Blinking Green - The modem is attempting to register itself on the network
    • Off - No downstream signal has been detected
  • TEST
    • Off - No problems found
    • Flashing - The modem is downloading updates or is currently running a self test
    • Solid - A problem has been detected, try powercycling your modem
  • USB
    • Solid or Flashing Green - USB is connected
    • Off - No computer detected via USB
  • WLAN
    • Flashing Green - Data is being sent/received via wireless
    • Off - No data is being transferred via wireless
  • *1* *2* *3* *4* (LAN lights)
    • First * = Link light, Second * = Activity Light
    • Solid Green Link Light on 1, 2, 3, and/or 4: A computer is connected to this port
    • Link Light off on 1, 2, 3, and/or 4: A computer has not been detected on this port
    • Flashing Green Activity Light on 1, 2, 3, and/or 4: Data is being sent or received on this port
    • Activity Light off on 1, 2, 3, and/or 4: No data is currently being transmitted on this port


Misc Notes:


- Normal Acceptable Signal Levels:
  • TX (8 to 55)
  • RX (-15 to 15) Ideal is 0
  • SNR (Above 30)
- Main reasons for bad levels are too many splitters, loose connections, and damaged or low quality cables.
