- Solid Green - A cable modem has been detected and the modem has registered itself on the network
- Slow Blinking Green - A downstream signal is present and the modem is attempting to connect
- Fast Blinking Green - The modem is attempting to register itself on the network
- Off - No downstream signal has been detected
- PC
- Solid Green - A computer has been detected
- Off - No computer has been detected, if your computer is plugged in, try a different cable or reseating the current cable
- Data
- Flashing Green - Data is being sent/received
- Off - No data is currently being sent or received
- Test
- Off - No problems found
- Flashing Amber - The modem is downloading updates or is currently running a self test
- Solid Amber - A problem has been detected, try powercycling your modem
- Power
- Solid Green - The modem has power
- Off - The modem is without power, make certain that the modem is plugged into a working power outlet

- When working the lights will look like:
