Status Lights:

• All Lights
  • All Lights Solid Green - Self test
  • Power Solid Green / LAN and CBL Blinking Green - The cable modem is performing an image udpate

• PWR (Power)
  • Solid Green - Modem has power
  • Off - Power cable is unplugged, plugged in non working electrical outlet, or the modem is no longer functional

• LAN (Local Area Netowrk)
  • Solid Green - Computer connected
  • Off - No computer detected or the modem was just recently turned on
  • Blinking Green - Modem is SYNCing or searching for a signal of some type

• CBL (Cable)
  • Solid Green - Cable signal detected and connected
  • Fast Blinking Amber - Modem is booting up
  • Blinking Green - Modem is SYNCing or searching for a signal of some type
  • Blinking Amber - Modem is SYNCing or searching for a signal of some type
  • Steady Amber - This is a hardware failure. Try powercycling your modem. If this does not correct the issue, you may need a new modem.
  • Constant Blinking Amber - The boot code has failed to execute. Try powercycling your modem. If this does not correct the issue, you may need a new modem.

• SND (send)
  • Steady Blinking Green - Modem is SYNCing or searching for a signal of some type
  • Fast Blinking Green - Modem is sending data
  • Off - Modem is not currently sending any data

• RCV (Receive)
  • Steady Blinking Green - Modem is SYNCing or searching for a signal of some type
  • Fast Blinking Green - Modem is receiving data
  • Off - Modem is not currently receiving any data

• OPT (Optional LED)
  • Steady Blinking Green - Modem is SYNCing or searching for a downstream frequency
  • Other - Depends on your cable service provider as this is an optional LED
