    • Off - Power cable is unplugged or plugged in non working electrical outlet
    • Solid Green - Modem has power
  • usb
    • Off - A computer was not detected as being connected via USB
    • Solid Green - A computer was detected as being connected via USB
    • Blinking Green - A computer was detected as being connected via USB and is currently sending/receiving data
  • enet
    • Off - A computer was not detected as being connected via Ethernet
    • Solid Green - A computer was detected as being connected via Ethernet
    • Blinking Green - A computer was detected as being connected via Ethernet and is currently sending/receiving data
  • send
    • Blinking Green - Data is being sent over the Internet
  • recv
    • Blinking Green - Data is being received from the Internet
  • sync
    • Off (Powering up) - The modem has not finished initialization
    • Off (Normal use) - No cable service to modem, check lines and possible ISP outages
    • Solid Green - The modem is connected to the ISP
    • Blinking Green - The modem is searching for a signal
  • ready
    • Off (But modem has connected) - The modem has been disabled from service (AUP, Billing, etc)
    • Fast Blinking Green - Modem is downloading configuration
    • Slow Blinking Green - Modem is determining upstream parameters
    • Solid Green - Modem is connected to the ISP and the Internet is ready to be used


Misc Notes:


- The Username and Password for the web interface is "user" - Normal Acceptable Signal Levels:
  • TX (8 to 55)
  • RX (-15 to 15) Ideal is 0
  • SNR (Above 30)
- Main reasons for bad levels are too many splitters, loose connections, and damaged or low quality cables.
